After becoming the main talking point of 2015’s I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here, Lady Colin Campbell may be about to land her very own reality show.
The icon claims that she is “in talks” with TV producers about appearing in her own show, documenting the refurbishment of her 18th century stately home that she bought two years ago for £700,000. The series will show her investing around £2 million worth of restoration on West Sussex’s Castle Goring.
Lady C even confessed that the homely refurbishments were the reason she entered I’m a Celeb in the first place, admitting that it was for purely selfish reasons.
Her sharp tongue and vicious rants made her the one to watch in the jungle, and she is hoping for the same reaction to her own show, and hoping that her two children will appear in the series if it gets the go-ahead she needs. Dima, 22, has said that he would consider appearing but “it depends on how it was done”.
She revealed that her unlikely inspiration for the idea came from none other than reality queen, Kim Kardashian, who she hopes to follow in the footsteps of with her ‘fly on the wall’ show.
Lady C quit I’m a Celeb before the final, claiming that she was bullied by fellow contestant, Duncan Bannatyne, but many still believe her portrayal was a set-up by producers of the show.
“This series will be a chance for viewers to see her true colours,” reveals an insider.
