Stealth has unveiled his incredible new single ‘Real Life’ and with it, he invites you to follow him into the night. It’s time to walk to the dark and let real life begin!
The talented singer-songwriter released the gritty new track earlier this week and as with his previous material, it features distinctly powerful vocals. With a thumping beat and a pounding rhythm, it really is the perfect follow-up to ‘Judgement Day.’
We first fell in love with ‘Real Life’ after hearing it at one of Stealth’s live shows back in April and we’re happy to say that the studio version lives up to all of our expectations. It’s the first song from Stealth since the release of his debut EP ‘Intro.’
Lyrically, ‘Real Life’ is about facing your demons and stepping out of the darkness. Life can be hard but you have to soldier on; don’t let anyone or anything defeat you.
Stealth explained: “Real Life is about not wallowing in self pity. It’s almost me having a conversation with myself saying, “pick yourself up, get out and get what you want in life. No one’s going to give you shit.” In the opening line I try to say this as candidly as possible “You can bathe in a sea of so close and failure, let the bitterness soak in, you can stand around and wait for your saviour, but your patience will wear thin.”
‘Real Life’ is available here on iTunes. The Birmingham-born star recently filmed an official video for the single so that should hopefully be following shortly. A second EP is also set for release later this year and more details will be revealed very soon.
To promote his new material, Stealth will be playing a headline show at The Waiting Room in London on the 22nd November. Grab tickets while you still can here.
Make sure you also check out our exclusive interview with Stealth here. We caught up with him earlier this year to discuss: the lyrics he’s most proud of writing, the meaning behind his swallow logo, his experience touring with Vaults and more.
