There’s no doubt that Ariana and Frankie Grande are as close as siblings can be. 10. When Frankie missed Ariana on Big Brother
Frankie was a contestant on the 2014 season of Big Brother. For the most part of the game, he hid the fact that he was a famous YouTuber and Ariana Grande’s older brother. When he finally broke down and revealed his secret, he could finally talk about how much he missed his little sister. He even said, “she’s one of the most gorgeous people on this planet Earth”. Aww! Shoutout to his fellow Big Brother housemate Caleb Reynolds, who genuinely believed that Frankie would get Justin Bieber to record a song with him.
9. Their Christmas Q&A
On December 25, 2014, Ariana and Frankie uploaded a special video where they answered questions from fans. Fans learned that, not only do the siblings look alike, their personalities are also pretty much the same. The two have the same humour and the same pet peeves. The entire video is just a big load of Grande cuteness.
8. Sharing childhood photos
Both Ariana and Frankie have shared multiple pictures from their childhood on Twitter and Instagram. This cute photo shows that the two siblings have been best friends since the beginning.
7. How to whistle tone
It’s no secret that Ariana has an impressive vocal range that goes up to the whistle register. In an old video, Frankie and Ariana, hilariously, demonstrate how to do a whistle note. It’s safe to say that this is not how it’s done.
6. Bang Bang at the AMA’s
Ariana performed Bang Bang at the AMA’s in 2014 alongside Jessie J and Nicki Minaj. Frankie, who is Ariana’s biggest fan, was obviously in attendance at the award show. It was impossible not to notice him, as he was jumping up and down, and dancing with Meghan Trainor and his mother, Joan, during the performance. Ariana also came down and danced with him for a few seconds, and it was adorable!
5. Performing Suddenly Seymour
When Ariana was 14 and Frankie was 25 they performed Suddenly Seymour from Little Shop of Horrors. It’s amazing to see how much they enjoy performing together. We hope that they will collaborate again soon!
4. I Really Like You featuring Justin Bieber
Justin Bieber’s video, where he and his friends lip sync to Carly Rae Jepsen’s I Really Like You, featured Frankie and Ariana. It is obvious that the two siblings always have fun together and enjoy hanging out.
3. The AMA’s 2015
When Ariana won the American Music Award for Favorite Pop/Rock Female Artist, Frankie was, obviously, the first person cheering for her. He was out of his seat before Ariana even understood that she had won. During Ariana’s speech, she dedicated the award to their Nonna, who is without a doubt the coolest member of the Grande family!

When Frankie was on Big Brother, he received a letter from Ariana after he won a competition. The letter is just about the sweetest thing in the entire world, and it was obvious that it gave Frankie strength in the game.

1. Defending each other
Many people have learned that they shouldn’t speak badly about either of the Grande siblings, or else the other one will come after them.
Someone once posted a homophobic comment about Frankie on Ariana’s Instagram page where the person referred to Frankie as “that homo”. Ariana responded, “that ‘homo’ is the fiercest, most incredible, funniest, most intelligent, kind hearted and most LOVED person on the face of the planet!” She ended her comment with, “he is incredible and i am SO proud!!!! oh and also ‘that homo’ gets more ass than you’ll ever get in your life. k miss thing?”
Wendy Williams once criticized Ariana’s appearance on her talk show. The host said, “She’s 21. She’ll forever look 12. Which, I don’t mean that in a good way. You know, it’s nice to look younger than you are, but when you look too young, and then you’re short – she’s only like 4’11″. I don’t look at her as, like, a woman.”
Frankie obviously had something to say to that, and he responded with, “I just don’t think anyone’s outside appearance reflects who they are on the inside. I just think that’s an unfair judgement or stereotype of somebody, to say that just because (Ariana’s) small that she’s weak or not a woman, I just don’t necessarily think that’s true,” he continued, “everyone has something inside of them that can be that be very different from the outside. Not everyone is literally mirrored on the outside and inside. I don’t think anyone should judge anybody based on their appearance.”
