    2020 NME Nominees Announced!

    The 2020 NME Award nominations were announced in London yesterday (January 20th), with British rapper Slowthai leading the pack with an incredible 8 nominations.

    The Northampton native, famous for hits such as Deal Wiv It, Inglorious and Nothing Great About Britain, lands noms for Best British Solo Act, Best Solo Act in the World, Best Live Act, as well as Best British Album, Best Album in the World, Best Collaboration, Best British Song, and Best Song in the World.

    The 1975 bag themselves 5 nods, including Best British Band, Best Band in the World, Best British Song and Best Song in the World for their track People.

    Other notable nominees include Billie Eilish, FKA Twiggs, Foals, Little Simz, Lizzo, Dua Lipa, Charli XCX, Lana Del Rey and Yungblud.
