Last Friday Cheryl made her long awaited return to the music industry with her brand new single ‘Love Made Me Do It‘. The pop banger is the first taste of new music from the former X Factor judge in four years and is the first to be lifted off her upcoming fifth studio album.
The new track is a massive pop/dance song that has sassy, tongue in cheek lyrics and a killer chorus guaranteed to get stuck in your head for days. This is the first era that Cheryl has had full creative control over her musical output as her new label 3Beat take a backseat to allow the hitmaker to make the music she truly loves.
This shows with the release of ‘Love Made Me Do It’ as it’s unlike anything we have heard from the 35-year-old before. You can also tell that she is having fun making the tracks she wants to. Cheryl has also had a hand in the editing of the official music video and has co-written all of her upcoming LP.
And now label bosses from 3Beat have confirmed that fans can expect two more singles from Chezza to drop in the first quarter 2019 before the release of the eagerly anticipated new album. Speaking to Music Week, 3Beat’s founder Jon Barlow said: “What we want to do with Cheryl is to put out a succession of incredible records and put an album out at the end of that process”
