    So Valentine’s Day is coming up and if you’re worrying about how you still haven’t got the perfect valentine- relax! We’re here to make you feel at ease, and instead show you how amazing it would be to have Matty, George, Adam and Ross aka The 1975 as your date! Yes, you really can have all four. Here’s five reasons why the boys would collectively be your dream dates:

    It’s obvious to see that the band take pride in their appearance. With their black and white turned pink and white graphics, they make sure they keep up the ‘rock star’ look and obviously rock stars have to have amazing hair.  No doubt about it.

    4. George is 6″5

    He actually is: 6″5. What else do you even need to look for in a Valentine if they are 6″5??? Hats off to George Daniel for being 6″5. You are brilliant George, you extremely tall beauty.

    3. Matty is a movie junkie

    Matty is a big movie fan, recently highlighting his fondness for Sixteen Candles and The Breakfast Club. He actually said that The Breakfast Club inspired the band for their first album, to make sure that the songs they were writing would be inspired by their lifestyle. The band expressed how it was important to them for their self-titled album ‘The 1975‘ to be the soundtrack to their lives.
    Oh also, Matty is precious and adorable.

    2. They are all pretty clever

    The band are known for their deep and meaningful lyrics which the majority of their fanbase find relatable. Each one of them are talented musicians and are known to put their heart and soul into the band. Matty said once:
    “This band is who I am. It’s not just something I’m doing. It’s not some sort of frivolous activity. It is the definition of my personality.”

    1. Their taste in music is brilliant

    The boys all share a strange but fascinating love for A$AP Rocky, stating that their favourite album of his is ‘Long Live A$AP‘. Other artists they are passionate about include the likes of Michael Jackson, The Weeknd and The Japanese House.
