After a lot of speculation online, electronic-classic trio Clean Bandit have confirmed that their new single featuring vocal powerhouse Demi Lovato will be released next Friday.
That’s right, ‘Solo’ will be making its way to streaming and download platforms on May 18. Both Clean Bandit and Demi shared the news on social media, along with the single artwork which features a blue hand with female legs sitting on top of the world, as you do.
News of a Clean Bandit x Demi Lovato collab first came about a few weeks ago after a lady posted on social media that she was appearing in the song’s music video. However, now we can truly celebrate as both parties have confirmed the collaboration, and let’s face it, we already know that we definitely need it in our lives.

‘Solo’ will follow on from Clean Bandit’s recent smash hits including ‘I Miss You’ with Julia Michaels, ‘Symphony’ with Zara Larsson and ‘Rockabye’ with Anne-Marie and Sean Paul. The track is also the latest in a string of collaborations from Demi. Over the past year, the American songstress has featured on tracks with Cheat Codes, Jax Jones, Luis Fonsi, and DJ Khaled, and will soon be releasing a duet with Christina Aguilera too.
With Clean Bandit due to perform at a number of high profile gigs this summer, including Capital’s Summertime Ball, and Demi over in the UK for her Tell Me You Love Me world tour, we’ve got everything crossed that they’ll treat us to the superb performance we deserve.
