Alanis Morissette has shared with fans her new song ‘Diagnosis’ which is the latest taste of the artist’s upcoming album, ‘Such Pretty Forks In The Road’.
The alternative pop superstar has previously released the tracks ‘Reasons I Drink’ and ‘Smiling’ and on her new song, delivers a piano ballad that tackles the issues of mental health and depression. The stripped-back pairing of Morissette’s potent vocals and delicate piano keys is an intriguing insight into the artist’s ninth studio album, which will be her first full collection of original material in twelve years.

‘Such Pretty Forks In The Road’ was set for release on May 1st, however, due to the ongoing impact of COVID- 19, Morissette announced on Twitter that she has chosen to push back the release date.
Alanis Morissette is due to embark on a world tour to celebrate the 25th anniversary of her iconic third album ‘Jagged Little Pill’, as well as to promote her new studio album, however, tour dates have been rescheduled due to the coronavirus. You can find out more information here.
The broadway musical inspired by ‘Jagged Little Pill’, which was announced last year, has also been postponed in light of current events.
