Imelda May returns with her stunning fifth studio LP Life. Love. Flesh. Blood.
The Irish stars new release is her most personal to date and the intimacy and autobiographical style suits her down to the ground.

The change of direction for Imelda May’s music comes about because of her divorce from her husband of 18 years. The breakdown of her marriage happening since the release of her 2014 hit release Tribal. ‘Life. Love. Flesh. Blood’ is a breath of fresh air and breaths new life into a classic Imelda May sound.
The standout tracks on the LP include ‘When It’s My Time’ which features a piano contribution from Jools Holland, ‘Black Tears’, ‘Call Me’ and ‘Bad Habit’.
The best thing about the album is the fact that it’s not pigeon holed to any particular genre. It features a collection of jazz, blues, rock, soul, and gospel making it an easy listen.
