Allegra has taken to the (online) stage once again to produce another utterly unique and engaging cover – and this time, it’s Dua Lipa’s smash hit ‘Physical’ which gets the treatment.
In the past, Allegra has proven she has the innovation it takes to make cover versions completely her own, with imaginative reworkings of Sam Smith’s ‘How Do You Sleep’, where the melody was played out on bottles, and Loud Luxury’s ‘Body’, where she was accompanied by a whole drumming troupe.
This time, for the Future Nostalgia hit, Allegra chooses electronic cellos, a synth keyboard and backing vocalists for her spin on ‘Physical’, making the song entirely her own whilst still maintaining the essence of the song which made it such a massive hit. Allegra proves once again that she is an artist to watch out for, and has the innovation and talent to make it big.
