Dear Jade, Perrie, Jesy and Leigh-Anne,
Seven years together….WHAT A PHENOMENAL ACHIEVEMENT! Every single year, you continue to go from strength to strength in terms of your friendship, your music and your talent. On behalf of the Mixers worldwide, we want to say a huge thank you for everything.
Becoming the first group to win ‘The X Factor’ is something that you will hold the record for, for eternity. It feels surreal that it was seven years ago that we were all rooting for you girls, after Kelly Rowland put you together, watching you grow week after week.
Right from the first time you sang together, we all realised that this was going to work. From your first album ‘DNA’, with tracks such as ‘Change Your Life,’ ‘Madhouse’ and more, you truly empowered fans, encouraging them to be strong and also the power of friendship. This has continued throughout your album releases, and we will be forever grateful for this.
The level of friendship that exists between you girls is nothing short of indescribable. From interviews to your chemistry on-stage to your interaction on social media, you four girls are the definition of friendship. It’s extremely evident that you truly are best friends – both in and out of the limelight.
You have also encouraged Mixers to love themselves for who they are, reminding fans on a daily basis of just how beautiful they are. This message goes beyond inspirational words in interviews and on social media. The message is reflected in tracks such as ‘We Are Who We Are.’ In a society whereby there is a lot of pressure to change to fit in and look a certain way, you have taught us to love ourselves. For that, we will be forever grateful.
You have also brought a whole new meaning to the term ‘GIRL POWER.’ With tracks such as ‘Salute’ and ‘Power,’ you have empowered fans in a different way. Your individual styles are unique to each member.
We’re so over-joyed that you won the well-deserved BRIT in 2017. It was an accolade that was long awaited, but your music received the recognition it deserved, and we know how much that meant to you. With innumerable other achievements such as a Number 1 album, four Number 1 singles in the UK, sold-out worldwide tours and more, your achievements keep growing, and we could not be prouder.
Thank you for touring endlessly to perform for fans across the world. We can’t even imagine how tiring it must be, but thank you for making the effort to go out on-stage every night and give each performance everything you have. With everything from the jaw-dropping dance breaks to spine-tingling vocals, you four girls are the epitome of hard work. Thank you for making the time to meet Mixers, thank you for communicating with us on social media, thank you for being the best role models.
With the new era coming soon, we can’t wait to hear more new music from you girls. From the snippet released on Instagram, it sounds insane. We’re sure that all your hard work will have paid off.
