What else should I know about Blanche?

Ellie Delvaux, known as Blanche, first made her mark in the music industry last year when she was just sixteen. She audtioned for the fifth season of The Voice Belgique (Belgium’s version of The Voice) singing ‘Daydreamer’ by Adele. The singer made it through to the live shows before being eliminated.

Belgium selected Blanche to be their representative for the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest in November last year. She was selected by the broadcaster RTBF (Radio Télévision Belge de la Communauté Française). She will be heading off to Kyiv, Ukraine in May to perform the song ‘City Lights’. The song was written by singer-songwriter Pierre Dumoulin who saw Blanche auditioning for The Voice Belgique and decided to meet her as he loved her voice. The day after their initial meeting, ‘City Lights’ was written.
