Brendan Murray is best known for being a member of former Irish band Hometown. Hometown were formed in 2014 by Louis Walsh and consisted of six members – Dean Gibbons, Cian Morrin, Josh Gray, Dayl Cronin, Ryan McLoughlin and Brendan. The band’s first two singles, ‘Where I Belong’ and ‘Cry For Help’, both reached number one in Ireland and their debut album reached number four. As well as this, the band supported many famous bands and singers including The Vamps, McBusted and Olly Murs. In December 2016 Brendan was selected to represent Ireland at the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest in Kyiv, and will perform ‘Dying To Try’.
