Wallows are an indie rock band based out of Los Angeles, California. With their debut album on the way (hello, Nothing Happens) and several festival lineups, the band has increasingly expanded their fanbase, sound and resumes.
With over a decade of experience under their belts and quite some bangers on their tracklists, Wallows are destined to become icons of the alternative music scenes. Not only do they bring together the messy, chaotic energy of the 90s grunge era, but somehow make that work with the “hipster kid next door” vibe. And we certainly can’t get enough of it can’t complain.
So here’s a quick rundown of everything you need to know about Wallows.
Who are the members?
Dylan Minnette — Vocals, Guitar
(Psst… some of you might recognize him from Netflix’s 13 Reasons Why!)
Braeden Lemasters — Vocals, Guitar
(Psst… You might recognize him from Hulu’s T@gged!)
Cole Preston — Drums
(Psst… He graduated from USC, so kudos Cole!)
What songs are they best known for?
Anything else I should know about Wallows?
Their debut album, Nothing Happens, is set for release on March 22, 2019 — do yourself a favor and pre-order and pre-save it now. Considering “Scrawny” and “Are you bored yet?” have already been released and are amazing, there’s no doubt in our minds that the album will live up to expectations.
Wallows are also going on tour this summer! Check out them out in a city (or festival) near you here.
