One year after releasing her comeback album, SYMPTOMS, Ashley Tisdale is back with a new song called “Lemons.”
“Lemons” is an upbeat song that talks about a darker theme. Tisdale has talked about her struggle with depression and anxiety before and this song is no different. It is hard for her to get out of bed but when she remembers that her mom told her life gives you lemons, you work it out.
The song sounds like a throwback 2000’s hit and a bop that you would sing during the Summertime.
During this time, a lot of people are struggling with anxiety and depression, and music, especially when it is relatable, can help.
We don’t know if this song is a lead up to a new album or EP but we are enjoying listening to “Lemons” and will add it to our Summer playlist.
Tisdale has been keeping busy during quarantine by posting on TikTok. It has brought a lot of joy to fans, especially when she recreated some of the ‘High School Musical’ dances.
Most recently, Tisdale and her fellow “HSM” cast, old and new, alongside other Disney Channel favorite stars, appeared on ABC’s Disney’s Family Singalong. They sang “We’re All In This Together” and brought nostalgia back to many fans.
