Avril Lavigne’s long-awaited sixth studio album, “Head Above Water,” is set to be released in February under BMG records and the album cover and tracklist were just revealed.
The 12-track LP contains title track, “Head Above Water,” and forthcoming single, “Tell Me It’s Over,” out December 12, along with 10 other songs.
“Tell Me It’s Over” was announced on December 5 along with the artwork.

The album cover depicts the Canadian singer with no clothes on sitting behind a guitar “above water.” It gives off a vulnerable, grown up, fighting back vibe and we are so here for it.

Back in July, she posted that she was shooting the album cover with a picture of her next to a bunch of outfits. What happened to them? Maybe they will be pictures inside the cover.

The album is available for pre-order December 12, the same day her second single is released.
She recently performed “Head Above Water” on the finale of Season 27 of Dancing with the Stars.

If the rest of her album is anything like the title track, we can’t wait to hear it. February can’t come soon enough. Hopefully, a tour announcement will come soon after.
We are so excited about her comeback and that she is healthy again and can’t wait to see what the future holds for her. Stay updated on everything she has coming up on her social media. For more info, visit her website.
