The Band first opened in Manchester’s Opera House on September 8, 2017 to critical and public acclaim. Ticket sales for the original run – September 2017 to July 2018 – broke box office records, making it the fastest selling theatre tour ever.

Written by Tim Firth, the musical features the music of Take That and tells the story of five 16-year-old friends in 1992 for whom ‘the band’ is everything. 25 years later, the ladies are reunited as they try to meet their heroes.

The musical stars Let It Shine winners Five to Five, made up of AJ Bentley, Nick Carsberg, Curtis T Johns, Yazdan Qafouri and Sario Solomon, as The Band. Rachel Lumberg, Alison Fitzjohn, Emily Joyce and Jayne Mckenna play Rachel, Claire, Heather and Zoe respectively. The musical also stars Faye Christall as Young Rachel, Katy Clayton as Young Heather, Rachelle Diedericks as Debbie, Sarah Kate Howarth as Young Claire, Lauren Jacobs as Young Zoe, Martin Miller as Jeff and Andy Williams as Dave.

The Band is produced by David Pugh, Dafydd Rogers, Gary Barlow, Howard Donald, Mark Owen, and Robbie Williams.

Tickets for the new dates (minus Sheffield) are on sale now. For full dates and ticket information, head to The Band website.
