Hot off the back of Britain’s Got Talent The Champions success, Bars and Melody are back with latest single ‘Lighthouse’.
Making the most of their return to the talent show’s stage last weekend with a triumphant performance of ‘Waiting For The Sun‘, which saw Charlie and Leondre leap into the final, ‘Lighthouse’ is a trademark BAM flick that sees the duo ready to ride the fresh attention.
For long-time fans, the Bars and Melody evolution since 2017’s Generation Z has seen the band go from fresh-faced ‘Hopeful’ to curating their own blend of alt-pop at its most potent in the last 12 months’ singles ‘Put Ü First’, ‘Love To See Me Fail‘ and ‘Waiting For The Sun’. ‘Lighthouse’ follows suit as Bars and Melody head towards the long-anticipated release of upcoming studio album Choke.
After lengthy touring stints across the continent, Bars and Melody now prepare to head out on the road in the U.K. for the Lighthouse Tour 2019. With an opening night at London’s prestigious O2 Academy Islington which hosts the hottest young talent, sets in Manchester, Newcastle, Gloucester, Bournemouth and Birmingham are all in the calendar this Autumn.
“It’s a lot more of a mature vibe”, Charlie divulged when speaking to CelebMix about Choke last year. “A mixed range of music and styles. We’ve worked with a few different producers, we don’t just stick to one producer.” Excited fans can hear all the latest Bars and Melody tracks first by getting their tickets for the live show here.
