We are oozing with excitement because the lineup for this year’s Radio 1 Teen Awards has just been announced!
This year, Jess Glynne, Little Mix, Shawn Mendes, The Vamps, and DNCE will all be performing in the SSE Wembley Arena! With this lineup, it will no doubt be a phenomenal night full of amazing talent and energetic performances.
The 2015 Radio 1 Teen Awards was amazing! There were performances by 5 Seconds of Summer, Demi Lovato, Nick Jonas, All Time Low, and Little Mix. Also, there was a surprise special guest performance by Justin Bieber. We have no doubt that this year’s awards will be even more spectacular.
We don’t doubt that each of these five performers will play their biggest hits. Jess Glynne rose to fame with her feature on the song “Rather Be” by Clean Bandit. She also had major success with her own songs including “Hold My Hand” from her album I Cry When I Laugh. The Vamps have also had major success with their newest album Wake Up. We only hope that they play their newest single “I Found A Girl” ft. OMI.
We also suspect that DNCE will perform their smash hit “Cake By The Ocean” and Shawn Mendes will perform either his hit “Stitches” or even his new single “Treat You Better”. After his surprise appearance two years ago on the BBC Radio 1 Teen Awards stage, we suspect Shawn will put on an incredible performance.
As for Little Mix, we believe they may perform their newest single “Hair” or even one of their incredibly popular songs “Black Magic” or “Love Me Like You”. But hey, wouldn’t it be cool if they performed a throwback song? “Wings” anyone? Either way, we are happy they have come back to the BBC Radio 1 Teen Awards stage to perform again and show off their killer dance moves.
Not only are these five artists performing, they are also nominated for multiple BBC Radio 1 Teen Awards. Jess Glynne is nominated for Best British Solo artist, DNCE is nominated for Best International Group, Little Mix and The Vamps are nominated for Best British Group, and Shawn Mendes is nominated for Best International Solo Artist.
