Singer-songwriter extraordinaire Becky Hill has dropped a double treat this Thursday. Alongside the music video for her latest single ‘Sunrise in the East’, she’s also announced a string of UK tour dates for October this year.
Let’s begin with the visual for ‘Sunrise in the East’, which is guaranteed to spark your wanderlust. Directed by Michael Holyk, the visual was shot in Vietnam earlier this year, which Becky calls one of her “favourite places in the world.” The visual is simple yet stunning, and captures Becky as she explores every inch of the area.
Speaking about the video, Becky said: “To get to do a video there was a dream come true. With 21 hour days and intense shooting it was also the hardest shoot I’ve had to do. The team were amazing, everyone knew the job they had to do no matter how little sleep we got. It’s my pleasure to present my brand new video for ‘Sunrise in the East’”
Alongside the release of the video, Becky has also confirmed a headline UK tour which will take place in October. Kicking off in Glasgow on October 8, the seven-date tour will also visit Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham, Nottingham and Bristol before finishing off in London on October 16.
