We’ve got ‘Wild Love’ for Ben Haenow’s latest cover!
Adding to his ever-growing catalogue of acoustic renditions, Ben has put his own spin on James Bay’s critically-acclaimed comeback single ‘Wild Love’. His stunning version is a must listen.
‘Wild Love’ was released by James Bay last month and it serves as the title track from his forthcoming sophomore album. The synth-drenched hit sees James take a new musical direction.
By stripping back the song to its very core, Ben Haenow has once again graced us with his faultless vocals. The former X Factor winner hits every single note and his passionate performance of the ballad is one that is sure to make James himself proud.
For the cover, Ben joined forces with: guitarist Alex Haenow, drummer Tommy Sugar and bassist Tiago Dias. The talented musicians also recently teamed up to perform ‘Jealous Guy’ by John Lennon and ‘Give Me One Reason’ by Tracy Chapman.
Over the years, Ben has proved his versatility as an artist by covering everyone from Adele to the Spice Girls. No song is too big for him and he always adds his own unique twist. You can view the Croydon-born singer’s latest covers here on YouTube.
Fans will be happy to hear that as well as continuing to upload covers, Ben will be releasing more original material this year too. The handsome singer’s next single ‘Falling Down’ will drop on the 2nd April and his second album is scheduled to follow later this year.
