Plans for one of the world’s famous houses to be expanded have been granted by Hertsmere Council in Hertfordshire.
The plans for the expansion come as the first since the house moved there in 2002 for the third series of the reality show.
The show has been granted the permission to build an ‘additional television production set and a television studio’, along with the ‘creation of an additional external area and extension of acoustic and visual fence to the North East corner of compound’.
The Daily Star reports that the plans may include a two-storey house extension, which could potentially facilitate upstairs and downstairs style accommodation. It may also include a second garden and a new indoor studio for host of the show, Emma Willis.
Producers of the show already have an eye on who they want on their line-up. Ben Innes is rumoured to be going into the show.
