Billie Eilish makes UK chart history with debut album

Congratulations are in order for Billie Eilish as she has made UK chart history with her debut album, WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO?

The US singer-songwriter’s debut album lands straight at the top of the charts with 48,000 combined sales. At just 17 years old, the singer becomes the youngest female artist in UK Official chart history to score a Number 1 album. As well as this, ‘WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO?’ is also the biggest debut album from an international artist to top the UK charts since Lana Del Rey’s incredible debut LP Born To Die in 2012.

After finding out the news, Billie told Official Charts,“I appreciate you making WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO? the #1 album in the UK so much. We worked really hard on this album. Thank you for the love!!”

Billie Eilish has been climbing her way up the industry since her debut EP Don’t Smile At Mein 2017, which she released at just 15 years old and sold out her March 2019 UK tour before entering the mainstream. Her career is just getting started and it’s undeniable that she will be making waves across the industry for a long time.
