On Sunday’s Live Show, host Dermot O’Leary announced that Scarlett Lee and duo Acacia & Aaliyah had received the fewest votes from the public and would be competing against each other for a place in the coveted Final.
Both contestants gave exceptional performances, but when the Judges had to decide the act to go through to the Final, they decided to go with Scarlett Lee, meaning that Acacia & Aaliyah were eliminated from the competition.
Duo Acacia & Aaliyah were put together at an earlier stage in the competition and despite being the youngest contestants in the competition, they impressed with their vocals, rapping skills and performance abilities and were mentored by Robbie Williams. On Saturday’s Live Show, they performed a mash-up of Stormzy’s ‘Blinded By Your Grace’ and Lethal Bizzle’s ‘I Win.’
The three contestants competing to win ‘The X Factor’ this year and through to the Final are as follows: Scarlett Lee, Dalton Harris and Anthony Russell.
