Brendon Urie, of Panic! At The Disco, announced his Broadway debut on April 11th. He will be playing Charlie Price in the musical Kinky Boots, performing from May 26th through to August 6th.
The character of Charlie Price receives the family shoe business from his father. He collaborates with a drag queen named Lola who designs a line of high heels and helps Charlie save the family business.
Brendon Urie is the last founding member of the band Panic! At The Disco. Brendon released the band’s latest album Death of a Bachelor in January of 2016. The band is on the Death of a Bachelor tour until April 15, 2017. Check out the music video for “Death of a Bachelor” down below!
Brendon actually teased the role without everyone knowing it. The band’s Instagram account posted a picture of an opening curtain. They also included lyrics to Don’t Threaten Me With a Good Time. The song references losing a bet to a guy in a chiffon skirt and then having to wear high heels.
