BRITs 2018: Este Haim Steals The Show With ‘Drunk’ Cameo

The Brit Awards 2018 took place last night and there’s so much to talk about, but there’s one thing which caught our attention and had us in hysterics – Este Haim’s cameo of course!

The star studded award ceremony featured performances from the likes of Dua Lipa and Stormzy, both of whom were the night’s biggest winners – King and Queen of the BRITs, if you will!

However, one of the most talked about performances was Este Haim’s low-key cameo whilst Liam Payne & Cheryl were being interviewed by host, Jack Whitehall. The HAIM bass player could be seen at the table behind the pair, looking directly into the camera and pulling off some hilarious facial expressions.

Este proceeded to wink at the camera whilst putting lip balm on her lips, and pulled off the ‘Call Me’ hand gesture. All of this was happening whilst Liam Payne and Cheryl were discussing their ‘safe word’ with the award ceremony host. We sure didn’t expect the BRITs to take such a hilarious turn!

The cameo was deemed as a ‘drunken’ act straight away however, Este took to her Twitter to put the record straight that she was: ‘not drunk, just living my truth’:

HAIM were at the BRITs in honour of their ‘Best International Group’ nomination however, they went home empty handed. Although, the HAIM sisters did join BBC Radio 1’s Nick Grimshaw for a BRITs after-party DJ set. They also paid the BBC Radio 1 DJ a surprise visit during his BBC Radio 1 Breakfast Show, after drunk agreeing to it last night.
