As BTS’ Jungkook celebrates his 22nd birthday, ARMY’s have once again turned the special day into a charitable event in honour of their golden boy.
The Twitter account @OneInAnARMY has dedicated its online presence to making monthly projects in order to better the world through the huge fanbase that BTS has. For each of the boys birthdays, there are extra special projects created to gather the fanbase together and strive for good in honour of this particular member. As Jungkook is incredibly competitive, his project became a challenge and has had incredible results thus far.

The project aimed to raise donations to plant trees in the Amazon Rainforest and completely obliterated the goal by raising enough money to plant over 8,000 trees in just under two days, with still donations still able to be made.
Another group of ARMYs took to the beach to host a cleanup in honour of the star as part of the #CleanUpForJK project.

In Jungkook’s hometown of Busan, big fan accounts of the singer Jungkook Supporters (@supporter_jk) and The Golden Union (@TheGoldenUnion) have donated 7,000,000 KRW (about £4,7k) and 1,000,000 KRW (about £700) in Jungkook’s name. Donations will be shared among about 70 local youths in need, as well as disabled children who attend the Buk-Gu Rehabilitation Centre for the Disabled.
BTS has been a group of individuals who have championed changing the world for the better, and were even named by the Korean Association for Supporting the Sustainable Development Goals for the United Nation’s “Global Sustainable 100” Award.in the category Top Rank Global Sustainable Future Leaders as well as their ARMY being named Top Sustainable Group.
ARMYs have gone all out in celebration of their idol and it is wonderful to see the impact Jungkook has had on his supporter’s lives, the way he has influenced them to do things for the greater good and see the love they are showering upon the world.
