It’s official! K pop group BTS and EDM duo The Chainsmokers are collaborating on a new song together! The track is titled ‘Best of Me’ and will be featured on BTS’s upcoming album Love Yourself: Her.
BTS’s agency, Big Hit Entertainment, confirmed the team-up earlier today. According to Naver TV, the song is “of the EDM genre” and is full of energy. The Chainsmokers’ Andrew Taggart also assisted in creating the song.
The two groups first met at the 2017 Billboard Music Award earlier this year, where BTS won the award for Top Social Artist. The Chainsmokers have shared posts on social media of the groups hanging out the week of the award show. In a tweet, The Chainsmokers wrote, “Love these dudes! See you guys this summer.”

Fans of the two groups then became very excited, as they predicted a collaboration may be in the works, especially since The Chainsmokers’ Andrew Taggart and Alex Pall have previously revealed that they are fans of K-Pop.
In an interview with Korean media outlet Yonhap News, the duo said, “We want to work and collaborate with a K-Pop artist that shares the same visions that we have. We’re just waiting for the best timing for that.”
