On May 1st, Universal Music Japan released a teaser video for the Japanese version of Blood, Sweat & Tears.

Blood, Sweat & Tears was the first single released by the band for their album “Wings”. The Korean version became a huge hit with 127 million views on YouTube. The song, along with the album, helped the band garner attention amongst International fans and media.

Since its release, BTS have won several awards and now the group is nominated for Billboard Music Awards’ Top Social Artist category.

BTS are popular for their visually enticing videos. Their larger than life videos follow a concept that runs throughout the album.

In Wings, the band touched upon the topic/concept of adolescence and tried to portray how the wings of knowledge free one’s soul.

The teaser video for the Japanese version seems to take on the similar theme that was shown in the Korean version but the portrayal seems a bit more subtle. It will be interesting to see what they bring out with this new version.
