Scottish singer-songwriter Callum Beattie makes his return with an incredible new single called ‘Connection’.
Co-written with long-time friend and songwriter Michael Ochs, ‘Connection’ received its first play exclusively on Radio 2 with Ken Bruce. Armed with an earworm melody, the track is an infectious and euphoric offering which perfectly captures the rush of creating that initial connection with a partner.
Speaking about ‘Connection’, Callum said: “It’s the perfect single to come back with. The song is about having a special connection with someone. But also, after a few ups and downs, I’ve reconnected with myself.”

Alongside the release, Callum has shared a house/club remix of ‘Connection’ by renowned producer Tom Ferry. The Liverpudlian producer has previously remixed tracks by the likes of Lorde, Ariana Grande and Calvin Harris.
‘Connection’ is Callum’s first release of 2019 and follows on from his acclaimed EPs We Are Stars and Miracle. With more new music in the pipeline, including a highly anticipated debut album, we couldn’t be more excited for what Callum has in store for the rest of the year.
We’re not the only ones who are excited about Callum’s future. The singer-songwriter has received support from the likes of The Telegraph and CLASH Magazine, whilst he’s built a strong fanbase from touring including performances at Glastonbury and BST Hyde Park.
