There’s a lot of reasons to look up to Fifth Harmony’s Camila Cabello… She has a beautiful talent, she’s kind to everyone she meets, and she’s not afraid to speak out. The list could obviously go on.
Another wonderful thing about her is that she’s very giving, and most recently, she announced that she’ll be working with Save the Children.
Save the Children is a organization that strives to help children all around the globe. On their website, they describe the fields they work in; U.S. programs, education, emergency response, health and nutrition, HIV and AIDS, hunger and livelihoods, newborn and child survival, protecting children, and U.S. disaster response. Through all this, they’re letting children worldwide get the starting chance they deserve.
Camila announced her upcoming work with the organization through her social media accounts this last Sunday (February 28th). She wrote a lengthy post describing why she has teamed up with the organization, alongside a picture of an adorable little girl tagged with #TakeaLeap. The photo also includes all the social media accounts for Save the Children. You can see both down below.
It’s always great to see celebrities use their power for good. With Camila publically supporting Save the Children, it’s no doubt that Harmonizers will get behind the organization if they haven’t already. That kind of mass support can make a whole lot of difference in the world, and in this case, it will help a lot of children who are in need of support.
We can’t wait to see what comes from this partnership. With the incredible fans of Fifth Harmony behind her, Camila’s work with Save the Children is bound to create a movement.
