To celebrate the release of her debut solo album Camila today (January 12), songstress Camila Cabello paid a visit to the Good Morning America studios.
Camila opted to perform her latest single ‘Never Be The Same’, following her electrifying debut performance of the song on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon earlier this week. The song is one of ten personal offerings which feature on Camila’s debut album, which was released today.

Before its release, Camila received rave reviews from various critics. However, the album is just as loved among her global fanbase. Since its release overnight, the album has reached number one on 95 iTunes charts around the world. Camila now holds the record for the most number ones on the iTunes chart for a debut solo album, beating Harry Styles’ previous record.
The album has been described as “the soundtrack to the past year of my (Camila’s) life”, offering listeners a thought provoking and passionate insight into the singer’s journey. With song such as ‘She Loves Control’, ‘Consequences’, and ‘Into It’, Camila has explored a strong sound, delivering thoughtful lyrics and stirring melodies.
Its lead track, ‘Havana’, continues to achieve success on a global scale. With almost 550 million streams on the song along, it has allowed the songstress to become the second most streamed artist in the world which is an incredible feat.
Camila took to social media to thank her dear Camilizers for their support and patience during the making of her album. Having passed on her musical baby to her fans, the singer said that she cannot wait for “the new memories we’re about to make”.
There is no doubt that Camila Cabello is about to reach stratospheric new heights in 2018 and we can’t wait to see her continue to flourish as an artist.
