As we just start to feel our way into the new year and new decade, 2020 is already shaping up to be an incredible one for country music fans with new music expected from the likes of Danielle Bradbery, Twinnie, Ward Thomas, Sarah Darling, The Shires, Jack and Tim, Shania Twain, and many more rising and established talent.
One of those exciting rising names that will be sharing a brand new album this coming year is Kentucky native Carly Pearce – the singer/songwriter was a huge a breakout star in 2017 thanks to her debut record ‘Every Little Thing’ and on Valentines Day she will release her much-anticpted sophomore self-titled album.
And as we head into the final weeks of promotion for the forthcoming LP, Carly Pearce has shared another brilliant track off the CD; this time in the form of the fun and flirtatious ‘Call Me’.
Speaking about the single, Pearce says: ” ‘Call Me’ has the same sass and swagger that ‘Hide the Wine’ had, from the moment I heard it, I knew I wanted to cut it. As a woman, I love songs that speak to our confidence!”
The feel-good women empowering anthem was written by country music supergroup Little Big Town members Phillip Sweet and Jimi Westbrook, along with Emily Shackleton and the late, great and much-missed producer Busbee.
The self-titled follow up to ‘Every Little Thing’ is available to pre-order ahead of its February 14th release date.
