She’s back everyone (and we promise to stop with the rhymes at this point)!
Singer-songwriter extraordinaire Caroline Polachek has returned this Tuesday (October, 17th) with a fresh new release. The track is titled “Dang” and has been highly anticipated by her fandom ever since its first teasers were posted. Originally rumored to be part of her latest long player “Desire, I Want To Turn Into You”, it was then, in the end, omitted and sadly leaked a day after the album’s release in mid-February.
Lucky for us: 2023 is the year of the leaked projects.
“Dang” sees Caroline Polachek rekindle her musical magic with PC Music legend Cecile Believe and iconic producer Danny L. Harle, who also helped shape large portions of her album “Pang” as well as its successor. From its experimental production to the fact that the chorus appears to be made up of muffled vocals amid Caroline’s clear “Dang”, the glitchy track is a wild rollercoaster from start to finish.
We say: This is a certified bop.
