Raise your wands. January 14th was an incredibly difficult day for many people around the world. Harry Potter star, Alan Rickman, died at age sixty-nine after battling cancer for 18 months. Let’s be honest – we all loved Alan. He played Professor Severus Snape for a decade, teaching us that not everyone is what they seem and some people are worth risking it all for.
Not only did he touch the lives of all the millions of ‘Potterheads’ who loved the HP series, but he was also adored by his fellow Harry Potter cast members, who turned to social media to honor their fallen colleague and friend.

My thoughts are with Rima and the rest of Alan's family. We have all lost a great talent. They have lost part of their hearts.

Terribly sad news about the passing of Alan Rickman. A funny and engaging person who put a shy young actor at ease when I was on HP.
