The US edition of “Celebrity Big Brother,” season 2, is premiering on Monday, January 21, 2019. After a successful first season, fans are excited to see some famous faces back in the BB house.
Julie Chen-Moonves is returning as host, after much speculation that she wouldn’t return based on her husband, the CEO of CBS, leaving his position.
The first season aired during the winter 2018 Olympics, so it didn’t have much to compete with. This time, there are no Olympics and the regularly scheduled programming will air. This is a good opportunity for the network to see how true the ratings are. Although, knowing Big Brother fans, they will want their fix of drama, competitions, and backstabbing.
Last year, “Hairspray” star, Marissa Jaret Winokur took home the win, while her best friend in the house, TV host and reporter, Ross Mathews came in second. Mathews, however, did take home the fan favorite prize.

There is no word yet on who the cast will be, but if it is anything like last year, fans are in for a real treat. Some celebs who are Big Brother fans include *NSYNC’s Lance Bass, SNL’s Bobby Moynihan, Backstreet Boys’ AJ McLean, and many more. We would love to see those celebs on this season.
Always expect the unexpected!
