London-based singer/songwriter Charlie Freeman, aka FREEMAN, has released his single, “London Nights.”
The song will appear on his upcoming sophomore album, “Love,” out this Summer, as a follow up to his 2018 debut album, “Truth.”
Along with singing, FREEMAN has also starred in a QIYI, Chinese Netflix, film, Chinatown Cannon, in which two of his songs were featured. The success of the film lead to a 60-day tour around China. He also had lead roles in short films Defector and A Friend in Need.
The album recalls themes of the 60s and 70s free love movement.
“London Nights” was written by FREEMAN and his bandmate, Jamie Brown, and it mixes nostalgia with the present- retro vibes with modern edges.
The single makes you want to dance and explore London for yourself. It sounds like something that would be in a movie.
