‘Chasing Cameron’ makes its Netflix debut

Fans of social media superstar Cameron Dallas received a special treat this holiday season when his documentary, Chasing Cameron premiered Tuesday morning on Netflix.

The ten episode series is centered around Dallas, an entrepreneur and Internet personality who is best known for his rise to fame on Vine. The show reflects on the highs and lows of online stardom, taking a personal look into the heartthrob’s everyday life. The Netflix original also co-stars his good pals Aaron Carpenter, Taylor Caniff, Blake Gray, Willie Jones and Trey Schafer. The boys are all part of MAGCON’s first international tour.

“I kind of wanted to show this part of my life because I wanted to…not only show my fans this side of me, but educate people that don’t know about the space, that don’t know about social media, they don’t know what their kids are kind of doing these days. And just showing them what it’s like and what really goes on behind the scenes,” the 22-year-old told E! News earlier this year.

To promote Chasing Cameron, Dallas has made several television appearances throughout the last week, including Late Night with Seth Meyers and Good Morning America.

Dallas also took to social media to express his happiness for Chasing Cameron’s debut. It wasn’t long before the hashtag, “#ChasingCameron” was trending worldwide.
