The sequel to Fifty Shades of Grey, “Fifty Shades Darker” is a story of the reunion of Anastasia and Christian Grey. Or is it? There seems to be a twist in the plot.
The Fifty Shades trilogy comes under the genre of erotica. The series has often been criticized for promoting violence. A lot of viewers were unhappy with the first movie.
Viewers shared an opinion that the first part focused too much on the physical aspect of the characters’ relationship.
Fifty Shades Darker seems to offer something different.
With a masqueraded ball at the center, the message is pretty clear. It is not a linear narrative but a story with multiple layers.
The trailer looks amazing. Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson’s chemistry heats things up.
Masquerade symbolizes role-play, hidden identities, and secrets. Those who have read the novel know quite well that there is a story behind why Christian Grey is Christian Grey. It will be interesting to see how it will be presented on screen.
