The X Factor judge and singer, Cheryl Fernandez-Versini has congratulated rap duo Reggie N Bollie on their new recording contract.
It was confirmed earlier on Twitter by X Factor boss and music mogul, Simon Cowell’s record label, Syco, that the boys had been signed to the label and will be releasing their debut album later this year.
The Sony owned label posted the tweet: BREAKING NEWS: @ReggieNBollie have signed to Syco Music. The duo will release their album later in 2016. (sic)
And now Cheryl, who was Reggie N Bollie’s mentor on the 2015 series of The X Factor has congratulated the boys on their exciting news.
Posting this picture on Instagram, of herself with the lovable pair.
The Geordie babe added the caption: It is official!!! @reggienbollie have a record deal and have been signed by syco. I am so proud of them! & It couldn’t have happened to two nicer people ! #ReggienBolliewepopchampagne watch this space.. (sic).
Cheryl and Reggie N Bollie have become firm friends since the series ended and the ‘I Don’t Care’ singer has already revealed that she hopes to be involved in the duo’s album.
And of course the urban performers made X Factor history, by being the only contestants to ever perform with a judge or performer before the final, when in week five of the live shows, the pair persuaded their mentor Cheryl to join them on stage, where they performed the Azonto together.
The talented pair finished in second place on last year’s series of the talent contest and are already hard at work in the studio recording their debut single and album.
