Yesterday saw the devastating news break that Alouder and Soldier Kimberley Szostak had sadly passed away at the age of just 23.

The young performing arts student and Cheryl Fernandez-Versini superfan’s death came as a shock to many in the ‘Soldier’ fanbase and Cheryl herself was also left heartbroken by the sad news.

Cheryl took to Twitter to share her grief writing: I am so so sad to learn of the passing of @KimBBBERLEY this morning. My heart goes out to her family and friends. Sweet dreams angel R.I.P.

The kind hearted singer also shared a touching  tribute on Instagram. Including a photo of Kimberley, Cheryl captioned the picture with the touching words: Today we lost one our most beautiful, funny and special souls. As well as a big part of our GA/soldier family. You were taken far too soon. I adore you Kimberley! You will be sorely missed and I will never forget your love, loyalty and support. I love you. Rest in peace.

Kimberley was a dedicated and loyal fan and she will be forever missed in the fanbase, whether people knew her personally or not her loss is still felt throughout the ‘Soldier’ family.
