Speaking to notebook magazine when she was at Cannes film festival last month, singer Cheryl Fernandez-Versini talked about her childhood and her holiday mantra.
When asked about her childhood holidays, the Geordie beauty revealed that her and her family never went on holiday, instead she enjoyed days out at Tynemouth Cullercoats beach in Newcastle.
Speaking about her memories of her days out at the beach, the Crazy Stupid Love hitmaker said ‘It was freezing the best part of the time, we used to pick sea snails off the rocks, and you’d take off their eyes and boil them to eat them, its vile.’
Talking about the holidays she now enjoys and whether she eats healthily while she is away,The X Factor judge stated ‘ There is no point going on vacation if you’re going to be on a diet, I don’t believe in diets anyway they’re fads, a vacation is a time to relax and have fun and not worry.’ You put on a couple of pounds? who cares! Your jeans are going to be a bit snug when you get back? So what.’?
