It can de difficult to decide which member is your favorite when you initially see a picture of The Vamps. If you cannot pick who your favorite is amongst the talented group boys, do not worry! We have put together a set of criteria, in order to help you choose which member’s lane you should be in!
Watch performances
Definitely watch the boys’ performances on YouTube! Or if you were lucky enough to have attended their concerts, think back to one of the shows and what they consisted of. One member may stand out to you in particular – then you can connect with them emotionally.
Brad
The Vamps undoubtedly have one of the best front men; talent runs through his veins. One minute Brad can be singing and dancing, then playing guitar, then off to drums or piano. Sometimes he does a combination of these and just keeps going and going.
James
A very talented guitarist with an angelic voice who loves performing to people all over the world. He really enjoys every minute on stage – and when you hear him sing, you will definitely agree that he should have more solos.
Connor
Whenever Connor is singing, or playing bass/guitar, you can clearly see the passion he has for his career. You may even end up find yourself spending hours re-watching his covers on YouTube while simultaneously (and inevitably) falling in love with him.
Tris
Fan of crazy? Tris is definitely in the running for your favorite member. If we say so ourselves, Animal from the ‘Muppets’ is definitely Tris’ spirit animal. Both are wild when playing the drums and keep the energy high throughout the entirety of the show.
Personality
Each member has a lovable personality – and it becomes clear whenever you watch interviews of them. Based on the many funny videos of them out there, you will be able to get a grasp of what they are really like as people.
Brad
Brad’s charismatic character becomes apparent no matter where you are in the venue. He always to connect with fans and shows how caring he is by stopping to meet them before and after shows.
James
James always stands for what he believes in by expressing his opinion on Twitter. He continually educates his followers with issues; cyber-bullying being one of many. His kind heart is also evident in the way he understands how much fans mean to him and vice versa.
Connor
Connor may be relatable to you as he is more reserved compared to the rest of the boys. He reminds us that it is okay to be quiet. The members are always joking around, but Connor definitely takes it to the next level. His hilarious and very Scottish alter ego, “Davey Jones” never fails to make people laugh.
Tris
On stage, Tris is wild and highly energetic. In contrast to this, behind the scenes, he is more reserved and constantly jokes around with the other boys.
Social Media
The way The Vamps act on social media plays a big role in choosing which member you favor more. This is the number one way to connect with your fave and find out what they are up to on their day to day lives.
Brad
If you like someone who’s inactive on social media, then he’s the one for you! Obviously, we would love daily updates on his life. However, on the rare occasion when Brad does use Twitter, you will probably forgive him and laugh at his hilarious tweets!

James
Tweets, live streams, and daily selfies are luxurious and constantly given when James is your fave! Out of all Vamps boys, James is definitely the most active on social media. His love for the fans is shown by constantly interacting and keeping them up to date.
Connor
Connor is more of a ‘lurker’ rather than a regular Tweeter. His tweets are usually showing love to fans, thanking them, or pictures of his bearded dragon Rex. You know what they say – a bearded dragon is a man’s best friend.
Tris
Tristan always expresses his excitement for performing in a new city. His social media mainly consists of beautiful selfies, hilarious Snapchat filters, and pictures with the other boys!
The Final Step
After you have gone through this crucial process, make sure to decide what personally matters to you. Do you prefer your main member to be really funny, constantly tweeting or very hardworking and determined? From this, you will be able to narrow down which member you want to pick as your favorite.
This, of course, is only a handful of reasons why you may love one (if not, all) of The Vamps boys! It’s also totally okay to switch lanes from time to time. We tend to do that.
