Chris Rock has been announced as the host of next year’s Oscars ceremony.
After having hosted the 77th Academy Awards in 2005, Rock says “I’m so glad to be hosting the Oscars. It’s great to be back”.
Producers David Hill and Reginald Hudlin announced the new host on October 22nd, ready for the event’s return on February 28th 2016. With an amazing array of talents – comedian, actor, writer, producer, director, documentarian – he should be a phenomenal Oscar host and truly is a valuable member of the entertainment industry.
Rock’s recent film roles include ‘I Think I Love My Wife’ and the first three ‘Madagascar’ series as a voice actor. Not only has he done this, he has also produced ‘Good Hair’ as well as creating ‘Everybody Hates Chris’ and directing ‘Amy Schumer: Live at the Apollo’. Truly a man of many talents.
