Oh no it isn’t….oh yes it is! It’s been announced that this year’s London Palladium pantomime will be Cinderella.

The Palladium Panto is a yearly staple and will take place between Saturday December 5, 2026 – Sunday January 10, 2027. This year’s extravaganza will feature none other than comedy legends Dawn French and Jennifer Saunders. They will be reuniting on the West End stage for the first time in 17 years as the wickedly hilarious Ugly Sisters.

Joining them will be Palladium Panto veterans Julian Clary as The Fairy Godfather, Nigel Havers as King Charmer, Paul Zerdin as Zerdini, and Rob Madge as Sequins. They will star alongside Dex Lee as Prince Charming and Hope Dawe as Cinderella.

Speaking about their reunion, French and Saunders said: “We have wished to play the Ugly Sisters for so many years it feels this is the fulfilment of a dream – a dream our hearts made. Watch out. It won’t be pretty.”

Directed by Michael Harrison for Crossroads Pantomimes, Cinderella will feature set design by Mark Walters, costumes by Hugh Durrant, Teresa Nalton and Mike Coltman, choreography by Karen Bruce, lighting by Ben Cracknell, sound by Matt Peploe and music by George Dyer.

Michael Harrison said: “Last year’s production of Sleeping Beauty broke all records at the London Palladium. We always want to raise the bar for our incredible panto audiences each year, so I’m absolutely delighted that Dawn French and Jennifer Saunders will be starring in this year’s Cinderella. Having two of the nation’s most beloved comedy icons together on the Palladium stage is incredibly exciting. Their legendary chemistry and razor-sharp humour will make this a truly special experience for audiences.”

Tickets for the Palladium Panto go on general sale from April 2, but fans can sign up for presale which begins on March 31.
