Claire Richards is releasing a solo album which is the best news we’ve heard all week!
Claire who is best known for being 1/5th of the pop band Steps has never released a solo album. But now she has signed a solo deal with Sony Music and will release her first solo album ‘My Wildest Dreams’ on November 2nd.
But on Monday we will get a taste of the album when she premieres single ‘On My Own.” She teased the news on her Instagram.
We spoke to Claire earlier this year as she was about to embark on a Summer tour with Steps and she told us that Steps were already discussing a new album but were going to a little break for a bit after a mega busy 18 months. ( You can read the interview here.)

Both of which showed off her vocal ability as a solo artist. She also did a stint on ITV show Pop star to Opera star which also gave viewers a chance to see just how versatile she is vocally as a performer. So we cannot wait to her new single and album.
