Electronic band Clean Bandit have announced that their latest single will feature 2015 X Factor winner Louisa Johnson.

The ‘Rather Be’ hitmaker’s who helped make Jess Glynne a household name will be collaborating with Louisa for her first proper release since she won the talent contest last year.

The four piece group announced that their new single ‘Tears’ will feature vocals from the Essex singer, writing on Twitter: “We’re really excited to announce our new single ‘Tears’ ft. @louisa! Stay tuned for more info… #Tears” (sic).

‘Tears’ is the bands first release since their 2014 debut album ‘New Eyes’ which spawned the massive number 1 smash-hit ‘Rather Be’.

The song will also be Louisa Johnson’s first proper release since her winners single ‘Forever Young’, which peaked at number 9.

No release date for the highly anticipated single has been announced yet, but fans should expect to hear the song soon.

Clean Bandit and Louisa Johnson have also shared the official single cover for ‘Tears’.
