Directed by David Frankel, the new trailer for Collateral Beauty has been released and it’s utterly inspirational.
The star-studded cast is led by Will Smith, most recently seen in Suicide Squad. The film also stars Edward Norton, Keira Knightley, Kate Winslet, Helen Mirren, Michael Peña, Naomie Harris, and Jacob Latimore.
Collateral Beauty tells the story of a once-successful businessman (Smith) who slips into deep depression following a family tragedy. To cope with the pain, he begins writing letters to objects and themes such as love, death and time. To his surprise, they write back, and Love (Knightley), Death (Mirren) and Time (Latimore) appear in a real and physical form, taking him on an emotional and spiritual journey
The official film synopsis reads:
When a successful New York advertising executive (Will Smith) experiences a deep personal tragedy and retreats from life entirely, his colleagues devise a drastic plan to force him to confront his grief in a surprising and profoundly human way.
The trailer looks very promising and we can’t wait to see what the film will actually deliver once it is released. We reckon we might need a bucket for our tears for this one.

Collateral Beauty is due for release on December 16 (US) and December 26 (UK).
