COIN have quickly become the sweethearts of the indie-music scene – with Chase Lawrence’s hypnotic vocals (and dance moves), the band’s music has now found a home in the playlists of thousands, if not millions, of people worldwide.
And Friday, February 8, the band played a sold-out show at the 9:30 Club in Washington, D.C.
Although the show was early – with the opener, Tessa Violet, going on at 6:30 p.m. – the room was packed and ready to go by the time the band hit the stage.
The setlist for the night brought some old and new songs together, allowing for all types of fans to sing along. Considering the setlists vary for each night, it must take the band by surprise when fans continue to yell all the lyrics back to them every single night.
