The Vamps’ Connor Ball and TV presenter/former Geordie Shore star Vicky Pattison are among the famous faces taking part in E4’s new series, All Star Driving School.
Launched in partnership with Suzuki Ignis’ media agency the7stars, the series will see nine celebrity learner drivers take on an intensive week long course in a bid to lose the L plates once and for all. The 15-part series from Rumpus Media will see the stars be taught by three fully qualified instructors, learning core skills and taking part in challenges along the way. Across the week, they will also be putting in some extra practice which will hopefully result in them passing their test.
The Vamps have recently been on a promo tour in the US, however, bassist Connor Ball was notably missing. He revealed earlier today that he has been taking part in All Star Driving School, which is why he was unable to join the lads.
ANNOUNCEMENT! Sorry for not telling you sooner! I'm so excited for this though ? x pic.twitter.com/40q202n0nV

Connor is just one of the nine stars who will be hoping to pass their test, in addition to everyone’s favourite Geordie lass, Vicky Pattison, who was reportedly the first to sign up. Also taking part in the show will be current Geordie Shore star Nathan Henry, former Pussycat Doll Kimberly Wyatt, Made in Chelsea’s Francis Boulle, First Dates waitress CiCi Coleman, Olympic gymnast Claudia Fragapane, and Tattoo Fixers stars Sketch and Paisley.
Speaking about the show, Jonny Rothery, Channel 4’s Commissioning Editor for Formats said, “It doesn’t matter who you are – learning to drive will test you to the limit and celebrities are no exception, particularly if they have friends and family sat in the back seat.”
Iain Wimbush from Rumpus Media added, “Learning to drive – it’s a rite of passage that almost all of us can relate to and it’s one that even celebs can’t avoid. Let the botched hill starts, 10 point turns, and nerve shredding roundabout manoeuvres commence…”
All Star Driving School will air on E4 later this year.
